U8 V Ashfield

Mansfield welcomed Ashfield RFC, the first game had some very good running into space with good tagging, with the outcome a well deserved draw.

The second game was a bit more eventful with Ashfield requesting their U7s being able to play, so with Mansfield U8s down on numbers for the day we agreed & with cooperation from Mansfield U7s coaches Edward & Mitchel came over to equal the side up. This ended up with a high scoring game with Mansfield ending up with the win, after some great straight running & support play. Special thanks to Edward & Mitchel who both seemed to enjoy the chance of playing.
