Game 2 Nottm Corsairs v Mansfield 8-10 Won
Game 3 Loughborough v Mansfield 6-6 Draw

A foggy and damp morning welcomed us for the start of the day, which was a three way event with Corsairs (fielding two sides) and Loughborough.

Mansfield had a spectacular day beginning with Mansfield’s first match against Corsairs Greens Team; a game that was end to end with good tagging & direct running, Mansfield narrowly failed to win the game, but earned a draw.

The second match was against Corsairs Red Team, with a couple of player changes from the first match, showed that Mansfield U8s has a great squad of players, considering we also had a number of players absent. Mansfield went on to win this game with excellent support play & tagging throughout.

The final game of the day was against Loughborough, with another rotation of the squad players, Mansfield gave another great account of themselves with good tagging, supporting the runners & direct running to earn a well deserved draw.
