If you would like to add your name to the contributors Honours Board then find out how you can here and act now.

Thanks to everyone who has supported our fundraising - you can still help, just go to the website for details. I hope you'll agree that it's been well worth the effort. Quite a transformation.
Andy Foster - Chairman

A massive Thank you to everyone who has already made a donation via the website or over the Bar. We can't Thank you enough, but we still need a bit more....

All details can be found below.

Dear Supporter/Member,

As you are aware, at the club we have a brilliant facility in the shape of the Sports Hall which unfortunately, due to the sponge mat flooring, is very limited as to what we can do with it commercially. Consequently there are a variety of social events that we are unable to accommodate in the sports hall such as shows, festivals and concerts because it is too expensive to keep taking the mat floor up and putting it back down again. As a result the Hall stands unused for large parts of the year. Therefore our plan is to replace the floor with a multi-purpose surface which will be compliant with modern regulations allowing us to continue hiring the hall out to sports groups for football, badminton and cricket etc. but will also be durable, hard wearing and robust enough to accommodate many different kinds of social events. This will provide the club with a much needed revenue source going forward allowing us to hold or host many more varied events providing income and helping us to improve and maintain the best possible playing and training facilities for rugby that we can.

Clearly this type of surface is expensive and although we are very fortunate to have already raised funds through donated pledges from companies and sponsors we are looking to add to this and raise funds by asking our club members, friends and supporters to help us further to raise as much money as we can to offset the cost.

If you can help, you can do this by purchasing a line which will have your name on it that will go on to a specially constructed plaque that will be placed in the Sports Hall once the project is completed as a thank you to all those who have contributed. Each line will cost £100 (and can be purchased outright or in 2 or 4 instalments) and allows for the name of an individual, a couple (whether civil or married) or a family to be displayed.

For example, a single line would accommodate any of these combinations:

Joe Bloggs
Joe & Jane Bloggs
Joe & Jane
Joe Bloggs & Jane Doe
Mr & Mrs Bloggs
The Bloggs Family

If you wish to contribute more than £100 then you can simply buy a line for each person in the family.

A 'Company' can also buy a line and this will include their name only and will cost £250, again multiple lines can be purchased.

How can I buy a line?

For convenience we have set up an online facility where you can buy your line or lines in instalments. Simply go to www.mansfieldrugby.co.uk and click on the payments section. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see one of three options called SPORTS HALL FUND and then select the one that suits you best. You can choose to pay in one payment or 2 parts of £50 or 4 parts of £25 to spread the cost (the instruction will end once your final payment has been made). Alternatively, you can also pay in cash or cheque over the bar at the club to Kevin Whale or to Nick Hughes or myself.

REMEMBER: Once you have made your payment in person or chosen your on-line option you must then send an email to me with your instruction on how you would like the words on your line to appear - the address is: andy@spinpass.co.uk

Our target is to raise £35,000 by the end of March and we are on the way, so with your help I'm sure we will achieve our objective. Thank you in anticipation of your support.

Best wishes.
