Mansfield’s O2 Touch team spent the day joining other selected O2 Touch organisers at the ‘O2 Touch Twickenham Takeover day’. This was a fun but informative training day at the home of Rugby.
The Mansfield O2 Touch organisers and coaches spent the morning learning tips about promoting on social media, by the head of social media for England Rugby. They also attended a seminar from Jamie Edwards, motivation coach for England Rugby and other top sports people.
The ‘Twickenham Takeover’ training day, was a first for O2 Touch, they went all out and put on a large BBQ on pitch side for all participants of the day.
The afternoon was the practical part of the day. The Mansfield organisers were put through their paces by Richard Tidmarsh, England Rugby fitness adviser. Before taking a tour around some of the most restricted parts of the stadium. To top off the afternoon the Mansfield team enjoyed several games of touch rugby with England touch players, Lottie Phillipson and Orla McCallion.
The day was finished off with a drinks reception with guest England centre Jonathan Joseph.

Monday 1930 - 2100.

10 – 16 years
Monday 1800 – 1900.

Girls only
Friday 1800 – 1900.
