We went down, but our heads never did. We defended like demons for the first 10 minutes, wore them out, and then struck—and struck well!

There were still some handling errors that need addressing, but aside from that, pure class was shown by our boys. From the scrum to the kick chase, we were fantastic. We showed aggression and passion, and that’s all I can ever ask for.

We battled hard and ground out the win. I hope the lads remember that winning feeling—and exactly what went into achieving it. I think we’ve finally clicked!

1–19 were unreal today. A well-deserved Man of the Match, although incredibly difficult to pick given the class on display, went to Reed!

A few others in the running today: Jenson, Jack, Harley, Channing, Cory—all putting in the extra graft. Big shout-out to Anderson for his massive hit in midfield. Although a penalty was given for a high tackle, I’ve got no problem with us letting them know we’re here. (And “high” was arguable.)

As Richard pointed out—35–0 last time. That’s where we’ve come from, and this is where we are now!

We’re going for the NLD this year. Get excited! See you all Tuesday.
