NLD Cup game

Having our cup game rearranged due to bad flooding, we had an early start to make our way over to Keyworth Rufc for our 2nd game in the cup siting nicely at the top of the group the boys wanted to make sure thats where we finish 2023,
So after a good warm up the boys were ready to get the game started as soon as the whistle went we came out strong with big tackles going in and some very aggressive rucking the forwards built a good platform for the backs to start putting moves together resulting in some very good tries first to cross the line was Lucas who again seems to cut through defences with ease quickly followed by a good try by William who found the space on the outside and started to go through the gears which no defender could get close to make a tackle, the forwards started to put pods together crashing through the heart of the defence with big strong runs from Mal, Toby, Myles followed by Alfie, Taylor and Oskar smashing the opposition off the rucks leaving good ball for Jackson to feed the backs again Lucas soon had his 4th try onto Oskar who picked the ball up in his own 22 and fendered the tacklers off one after another to run the length of the pitch to grab a impressive try just before half time leaving the score line 30-0 to Mansfield.
Half time we made some changers which seen Jayden, Henry, Archie making their cup debuts we spoke about Keyworth starting the 2nd half throwing everything at us which they did scoring 2 tries of their own but we stood tall and tackled everything that came at us and with the ball finding Lucas again he made his 5th try of the game AWESOME SIR TAKE A BOW, Happy feet started to get the ball he danced his way through tacklers from his own half to get on the score sheet, Keyworth scored again after some big tackles from both teams the game was nearly over when Kyros strolled through the defence and round off the game 45-15 to us.
As coaches we had the task of man of the match with every player disserving of it just a few mentions William for his top tackling WELL DONE,
Kai for running at every ball carrier and throwing himself at them and having a fantastic run only for the scrambling defence to stop him a yard from the line, Lucas and Kyros for the hard work they put in not just today but every time they play Fantastic, Toby who is just a tackling machine, but Jayden was fantastic on his debut he tackled everything keyworth through at him and looked like he had played for along time not just a couple of week AWESONE GAME WELL DONE.
