3 Way With West Bridgford and Newark

This Sundays 3 way tie at Newark with the hosts and West Bridgford made for heavy going for Mansfield Under 12's. Each side had two un-streamed teams in this very well organised fixture ensuring that all teams played 4 matches. Both Mansfield sides got off to slow starts against excellent opposition who rucked well and moved the ball into space very efficiently. Mansfield tackling and use of space did finally show through at the end with great performances from Will, James-J and James-G. Tom showed great flair in attack and made some crunching tackles. However Eden was selected as Mansfield Player of the day and was awarded 'The Leg' for his outstanding defence, rucking and most importantly team organisation.
