For the first game of the new season we undertook the fixture inline with the new “Shaping the Game” in which we fielded sides of 6v6. Mansfield showed a good intent in the all games, team 1 game 1 being the fixture match and subsequent games played inline with ‘shaping the game’, both teams were interchanged to give all players a chance to play alongside all team-mates.
 
All fixtures were played at pace with most players scoring try’s & some good tagging.
 
‘Player of the Day Award’- Lucy.  This is a new idea to award players who play consistently well or show an improvement on the day to bring player on & is awarded by the opposition coaches.
