Sunday 18th December saw Mansfield RUFC U13 Girls host Lutterworth RUFC U13 Girls in a development friendly at Eakring Road.
The game gave an opportunity for numerous new starters that have joined the squad over the past weeks to pull on a Mansfield jersey for the first time and experience a game of rugby at Mansfield. Lutterworth provided a worthy and dynamic opposition through the numerous games that were played, and despite being at times over sized by a powerful Lutterworth side, Mansfield never gave up and impressively worked as a team to try to overcome Lutterworth strong play.
All in all, excellent game time and valuable experience for Mansfield's U13 Girls that will now allow them to continue working hard into the second half of the season.
