Before taking on his role as Duty Officer, Alan gave many years of dedicated service to the club as a volunteer in the role of Safeguarding Officer, helping to ensure Mansfield Rugby Club remained a safe, welcoming and positive environment for our members, particularly our young players.
We are sorry to see Alan leave us, but his health must come first and remain the absolute priority. We wish him all the very best for the future and hope to see him around Eakring Road where he knows he will always be given a warm welcome home.
Club Chairman Andy Foster said, “Alan has given a huge amount to the club over the years, and we would like to thank him sincerely for his commitment and hard work. His work on the committee as our Safeguarding Officer was first class and his knowledge and experience in that role was always reassuring”.
Thank you again Alan.
From everyone at Mansfield Rugby Club.
