Mansfield Rugby Club involve local Primary Schools to Rugby World Cup fever

Mansfield Rugby Club completed their school rugby support coaching sessions at Peafield Lane Academy and Churchvale Primary School in June / July by holding a Rugby World Cup.
Mansfield Rugby Club's school coaches had been undertaking coaching sessions for boys and girls in the schools to support the district tag rugby competitions that the schools had entered in June, but to ensure that the pupils completed their rugby coaching experience with a bang the coaches held a Tag Rugby World Cup at both schools.

Jo Yardley Head Teacher at Churchvale Primary school commented
'Church Vale School has benefited greatly from the high quality coaching that we have accessed. Not only have the children developed their knowledge of the game and the rules, they have developed their ‘sportsmanship’ fully taking on board the core values of rugby. We have seen a massive difference in their confidence levels and team work skills. Above everything they have enjoyed the coaching and subsequent competitions immensely and we shall certainly be looking to extend this into next academic year'
England emerged victorious in one of the World Cups, with Australia winning the other....read into that what you will.......however the kids introduction to rugby was the main winner.
