Over Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd August Tat McFarlane is taking on 70 ends of Crown Green Bowls over 24 hours – and, as a pensioner, that is going to test his stamina, concentration and determination to the limit.

There’ll be nowhere to hide and no easy option when tiredness sets in, just a determination to keep going and complete the challenge.

This is a serious challenge and one that deserves plenty of support.

He’s doing it to support Mansfield Rugby Club’s 70 for 70 Fundraising Campaign, and every donation, however small, will give him another reason to keep battling through.
