To celebrate, all 22 of our teams/members/supporters are taking part in a year-long series of sponsored challenges to raise £70,000 — £1,000 for every year of our history. This will involve activities from teams and individuals taking part in runs, cycling, rowing, walks, swimming in strength and stamina challenges to bag packing, ice bath relays, club fundraising nights & events and of course lots of games!

The money will go towards essential repairs and improvements to our clubhouse and grounds, protecting this special place for future generations.

Club Chairman Andy Foster said on launching the campaign, “Mansfield Rugby Club has provided an outstanding local sports hub for generations of local people for seven decades building confidence and character helping to shape lives. This campaign ensures it can continue to do so for many generations to come. I have personally committed to a demanding venture for August, but more on that as we work through our challenges”.

This is not a standard fundraiser. This is a whole-club effort. Players, administrators, parents, supporters, past members — everyone can take part.
