Lincoln II - 13 v Mansfield II - 10
Mansfield 2nd team fell 13-10 at Lincoln having an unlucky afternoon when coming back from 10-0 down in the first half to level the scores. They were denied 2 tries where the match official was unsighted on both occasions and therefore could not award the scores. Lincoln were then awarded a penalty in the dying minutes underneath the posts to win the game. Again a good effort from Mansfield with tries coming from Simon Harrison and Mark Ashley.

Mansfield III - 39 v Lincoln III - 20
Mansfield 3rds took their 2nd league win in as many games 39-20 with a spirited, if not always pretty game, against a well drilled and powerful Lincoln 3rd team. Both teams cancelled each other out in the first half to turn around at 10 points a piece. Tim Allsop having converted his own try and a penalty to score all Mansfields points. Lincoln started the 2nd half the better going into a early lead but this seemed to jump start Mansfields game. D. Chapman and J. Bennett led the way putting in strong runs around the loose at the same time as Lincoln’s heads began to drop and that was all Mansfield needed to take control of the game eventually coming out winners by 39 points to 20. Also on the score sheet were Hardwick with 2 tries, Bennett, S. Chapman, A. Whittlestone with 1 try and Allsop adding 2 more conversions. Pruden adding a further conversion. MOM went jointly to D. Chapman and Bennett.
